Mostly I use my scooter as a beer holder and to get to wear my leather jacket...
Beerholder FAIL: I put my beer in my brand new Prima beer/coffee holder and went inside for a bit, and when I came back out, it had broken and dumped the beer all over the floormat of the scooter. I guess I should be thankful I tested it and it fall apart with hot coffee in it tomorrow morning. I'm going to superglue it right now....

Gas leak
I think I overfilled the gas tank. Gas was leaking out. Gas tank removal broke the petcock valve because I didn't disconnect the exterior turning knob first. Gas in the air filter caused the adhesive holding it together to disintegrate. Air intake to carburetor had about a cup of gas in it. Now the bike won't start at all. Oh the joys of self-inflicted mechanical disaster.

What was making that noise...the Bendix
If you look closely you can see the chipped teeth where this was rubbing against the flywheel.
It is hard to fit your hands in here.
